True  Love is the basis for everything.   From an early age, we demonstrate this “love” to our nearest and dearest and show our children our thoughts and beliefs  about love.    Research shows that when you ask Children about love their definitions stem not only from education but also from experience  Thus directing children to examples that demonstrate true love is key to them understanding this mighty concept

This concept is simple however can be complex to  the human mind.  The most natural and unbiased demonstration of the elements of this trait can be found in nature.- Justice and Love – both go hand in hand together .  In fact the greater part of love is severity.  Misplaced indulgence (fostering the weaknesses of others) selfishness, vanity indolence and conceit, all of which play a part in “human love” today  has no place in nature.

As children grow up with nature being a conscious part of their lives and experiencing, they will inevitably develop the true  perceptions of this trait.  They will identify creatures  in nature  as living things that share the planet with them  and the forces at hand which bring order and law to nature.   Every  conscious time spent in nature brings with it an increased awareness of these forces and  results in the realization that that everything down to the smallest, seeming inconsequential thing  operates within natural laws and has a purpose that culminates in a  purpose for the greater good, and that there are consequences for everything that operates outside of these laws .   If you then extend this realization to your child’s everyday life, they will see how their relationships to other people ,and friends should make use of these developing traits.

In exposing children consciously to nature , their ability to understand true love is  actively stimulated and will eventually become all encompassing.    They will be able to  first of all see themselves  as another creature, subject to natural laws, and  start to ask the real questions- “who am I? why am I here?” , in order to find their  own purpose and thus ultimately develop an inner love  for themselves and their purpose.     As a result of this, they are then  able to direct this love to all creatures because they will feel  a connection to all and not  just to their  immediate family  in the knowledge that whatever they do has a consequence for all – good or bad.  This is the type of love that  stimulates great deeds for the benefit of all and not just for self .  This is the eventual and gradual result of exposing children consciously to nature.

So start  to talk to your young ones about the interconnections in nature in a conscious manner when you are in nature.  Make them feel that nature is their teacher, and best friend.  We are to know nature ;  learn from the many examples it offers and not just use it for its many physical and mental  benefits.  Nature provides much more when we consciously open ourselves to its seen and unseen forces and exposing our children to it will enable them start to develop their own perceptions of true values and character traits which they will use as a guide throughout their journey in this part of creation.
