Take a picture of your hoard with your children and find time be creative what they’ve collected
eg:
- discuss what the objects could have been before you picked them up
- what they did
- Relate it back to what your children do and aspire to do
This activity develops empathy for nature in the children especially when its activities can be related back to theirs.
Make a note of your discussions in your spring scavenger document , save it and refer back to their thought process as they grow older
